Emergency bandage in dark grey plastic wrapper, 2009

Manufactured by First Care Products Limited, this bandage is used for haemorrhage control and trauma wound dressing. It was part of a medical kit belonging to Lance Corporal Chris Schivas of 16 Medical Unit who served in Afghanistan during 2007-2008 and in 2010.

The bandages is impregnated with crushed shellfish or minerals that seal injured blood vessels.
