Kilt of Gordon tartan worn by Lieutenant John Bramwell, 1815 (c)

This kilt was worn by Lieutenant John Bramwell of the 92nd Regiment of Foot. He took part in the Waterloo campaign of 1815 and fought at the Battle of Quatre Bras (1815), losing his right leg in the process. He served with the 92nd Regiment from 1813 until 1817. Bramwell died in 1876.
