Sporran with badge, 92nd Regiment of Foot, 1815 (c)

As many Scottish regiments wore kilts that did not have pockets they used sporrans as a wallet and container for their possessions. This example, inscribed 'Egypt' and 'Waterloo', was worn by Lieutenant John Bramwell who served with the 92nd Regiment from 1813 until 1817.
