Shirt with ruff worn by Lieutenant John Bramwell, 92nd Regiment of Foot, 1815 (c)

Bramwell served with the regiment between 1813 and 1817. His unit was in Ireland when Napoleon escaped from Elba and was immediately rushed to the continent to fight at Quatre Bras and Waterloo in 1815. Bramwell lost a leg at Quatre Bras.
