Some memories of the years 1914-1918 by William Bowyer, 1918

Bowyer enlisted in the Spring of 1915, joining 1/1st Buckinghamshire Yeomanry (Royal Bucks Hussars). He went on to serve at Gallipoli (1915) and against the Senussi in Egypt (1915-1916) before joining the campaign in Palestine (1917-1918). In 1918 his unit became part of the Machine Gun Corps and he was transferred to the Western Front for the remainder of the war.
