Lantern slide, London 1902.
Soldiers from all over the British Empire attended the coronation celebrations in London. This included over 1,000 men from 44 different regiments of the Indian Army. Huge crowds lined the procession route and gave the soldiers a warm welcome.
From a collection of 243 lantern slides, mainly illustrations from 'The Illustrated London News' and 'The Sphere', 1899-1902.
