Lieutenant Andrew Finucane, 10th (Prince of Wales's own) Regiment of (Light) Dragoons (Hussars), 1811

Andrew Finucane joined the British Army as a cornet in 1808, became a lieutenant the following year and resigned from the Army in 1811. During his period of service his regiment fought in Spain during the Peninsular War (1808-1814), seeing action at the battles of Sahagun, Benavente and Corunna.
