Book containing miscellaneous notes and journals of General Sir Frederick Trench

The book includes accounts and staff lists of the Walcheren Expedition of 1809 and the authors activities in Cadiz during 1811-1813 in the Peninsular War (1808-1814). It also contains General and Divisional Orders, diary entries, disembarkation returns of the Reserve, information relating to the defence of Kent (or the Southern District) where Trench served as assistant quartermaster-general, and some notes on French and English history.
