Letter from Sir John Colborne to Mrs Duke Young, January 1809

This letter was apparently written by Colborne following his return from the Peninsular War (1808-1814) following the retreat from Corunna where he served as military secretary to General Sir John Moore.

From a collection of 17 miscellaneous autograph letters and documents, 1793-1914.
