6th Dragoon Guards (The Carabiniers), A Dangerous Path, 1905 (c)

Oil on board by Henry Joseph 'Harry' Payne (1858-1927), 1905 (c).

A file of troopers in service dress ride down a narrow, rocky path. In 1906, the regiment was part of the Cavalry Brigade at the Grand Durbar at Bangalore in India. During the celebrations the Prince of Wales presented them with a new standard.
