Mug, 3rd County of London Imperial Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), 1899-1902

The mug was contained in a leather cased mess tin, described as a 'Tea Billy' or 'Patrol Tin' in the Army and Navy Catalogue of 1907. It was owned by Regimental Sergeant-Major C Fergusson of 3rd County of London Imperial Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), and used by him during the Boer War (1899-1902).
