Bound manuscript letterbook containing copies of out letters from General Richard Hussey Vivian's headquarters, 1 May 1815-5 February 1816

The 64 pages are addressed to officers on the Duke of Wellington's staff and commanders of regiments in Vivian's brigade. They relate to administrative matters such as deserters, court martials, leave of absence for officers and troop movements. The book is inscribed on cover: 'letterbook 2nd Brigade Cavalry'.
