Subedar Dahn Suba Gurung, 3rd Queen Alexandra's Own Gurkha Rifles, MBE, November 1944

The subedar was presented with his medal by the Commander-in-Chief India, Field Marshal Sir Claude Auchinleck, during a visit to the North West Frontier in November 1944.

From a collection of 233 official photographs collected by Captain Roy Wiltshire in his capacity as Editor of the Indian Army Review.
