Medal group awarded to Lieutenant John Silvester Colbourne, South Staffordshire Regiment and the Warwickshire Regiment

Colbourne was commissioned from the ranks on 31 October 1917. He served on the Western Front until being taken prisoner on 21 March 1918. Colbourne was invalided from the service on 8 March 1920, having been awarded the 1914-15 Star, British War Medal 1914-20, Allied Victory Medal 1914-19 and the 1935 Jubilee Medal 1935.
