Two letters of congratulation regarding the award of the Military Medal to Ethel Grace Cartledge, Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps

Forewoman Clerk Cartledge received the Military Medal for continuing with her work during air raids at her camp in France. This was despite having her foot injured by falling wreckage. The award was announced in the 'London Gazette' of 15 October 1918.
