Letter regarding the investiture of Ethel Cartledge, Women's Army Auxiliary Corps, at Buckingham Palace, February 1919

Forewoman Clerk Cartledge received the Military Medal for continuing with her work during air raids at her camp in France. This was despite having her foot injured by falling wreckage.
