Sent to Mary Charteris of Bristol, it reads: 'I have to inform you that the date fixed for your journey to London is Thursday 24th May. You will have to leave Temple Meads by the 2.10 pm train, arriving at Paddington at 4.20pm. Kindly see that you are on the platform a quarter of an hour before the train starts. A red arm-band, which you are asked to attach to your left sleeve, is enclosed. A railway warrant will be sent you from the War Office authorities'.
