Rectangular cotton evenweave flag with red sun on a white ground, with three cotton and wool rank badges.

This Japanese flag bearing three Japanese rank badges was captured during World War Two (1939-1945) by the 4th Battalion, 18th Royal Garhwal Rifles in Arakan in Burma.
