Union Flag thought to be from the British Consulate in Kuwait, 1991 (c)

Rectangular, red, white and blue cotton bunting.

This flag was acquired by David Smyth of the 40th Engineers, and subsequently gifted to Staff Sergeant Matt Raines, US Army. It is believed to have been collected from the British Consulate in Kuwait in 1991, possibly following the deployment of British and American troops to the region during the Gulf War (1990-1991).
