'His Royal Highness Prince Adolphus Frederick youngest Son of his present Majesty George the Third', 1794 (c)

rince Adolphus Frederick was born on the 24 February 1774, the seventh son of King George II and Queen Charlotte. This print of the Prince was produced before he was made Duke of Cambridge in 1801. Prior to his military training in Hanover, Adolphus Frederick was made honorary Colonel-in-Chief of the 1st Regiment of Hanoverian Guards in 1789.
