Bedford 3 ton 4x4 RL truck, 1957

This truck was manufactured in January 1957 and entered service with the British Army in March of that year. It initially went to 16 Base Vehicle Depot in Germany and then, in March 1972, to 17 Base Vehicle Depot. Subsequently it went to 1 Brigade (Corps) Vehicle Company at Recklinghausen, Germany. In November 1975 it returned to the Vehicle Depot at Ashchurch and in April the following year went to the Vehicle Depot at Hilton. In June 1979 it was struck off the military census.
