The 2nd and 3rd Battalions of the Parachute Regiment were involved in fighting around Ismailia and had cordoned off the town when the 1st Battalion of the Lancashire Fusiliers stormed the Bureau Sanitaire on 20 January 1952.

From collection of 27 photographs collected by Private David Hunt, 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, whilst serving in Egypt during the civil unrest, 1951-1952.
