Photograph, Aden, 1967 (c).

The Federal Regular Army (FRA) troops, formerly known as the Aden Protectorate Levies, escort National Liberation Front (NLF) suspects during a round up in Aden colony. Arab FRA troops, often commanded by British officers, supported British attempts to resist the Egyptian-backed nationalist insurgency.

From a collection of 110 photographs collected by Private M Arnold, the 3rd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment; collected whilst serving in Aden, October 1966 to May 1967.
