New Zealand Memorial Cross 1939-1945, awarded to Sapper P C Petty, New Zealand Engineers

The cross was awarded to the next-of-kin of military personnel killed on active service. Sapper Petty was killed in action at El Alamein, North Africa, on 23 October 1942.
