Routine patrol in Basra City, 2006

Whilst on a routine patrol in Basra City a gunner with 17 Battery Royal Artillery, on his first operational tour of Iraq, found time to have a kick around with some football-mad Iraqi kids. He noted: 'They love football and all I did was a few kick ups and they were shouting "Beckham"'.
