Royal Engineers of 26 Engineer Regiment, with the support of the 1st Battalion, Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment (29th and 45th Foot), mount a combat bridging operation in Helmand Province in June 2007. Operation BATAKA involved the construction of a girder bridge under fire in the contested town of Garmsir.
