Handheld Driftway detector, 1993

Driftway was developed for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search Community to detect metal components of mines and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) buried in the ground or walls. It was designed to offer a high level of assurance to the operator and withstand climatic changes in environments as varied as Northern Ireland (1969-2007), Iraq (2003-2011) and Afghanistan (2001-).
