Handheld Sprite detector with material case, 2006

Sprite was developed for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search Community to identify Improvised Explosive Device (IED) components while investigating buried devices up close. It uses infrared and thermal imaging detection technologies and is designed to withstand the climatic changes in environments like Iraq (2003-2011) and Afghanistan (2001-).
