The subject of this demobilisation poster is 'Commerce' and 'Man and Society'. Games has included a stylised depiction of a question mark (representing a soldier), wearing a suit with its arms and legs flung outwards. It stands before a line of objects representing various professions and education; including a fountain pen, books and a globe. The Army Education Scheme helped prepare men for civilian life by training them and offering careers guidance.
