'The South Wales Borderers, Men of South Wales! Join your National Regiment', recruiting poster, 1920 (c)

The poster has the regiment's badge on two crossed colours, the regimental colour bearing battle honours and the King's Colour in tattered condition, surmounted by a black and white reproduction of the oil painting, 'The Defence of Rorke's Drift' by Alphonse de Neuville. the poster text lists the regiment's battle honours of World War One (1914-1918). An eighteenth century grenadier and an infantryman from World War One flank the lower sections of text. The poster text makes reference to pay and conditions, including reference to the opportunity for sport and games, leave and good clothing.
