Horses picketed on the beach between Cape Helles and Gully Ravine, 1915

Photograph, World War One, Gallipoli (1915).

The horses are tethered to picket spikes on the sand. Gully Ravine was located on the left of the Allied position at Cape Helles near 'Y' Beach.
