Model vehicle box, Carden Loyd carrier, W Britain, 1938 (c)

Manufactured by W Britains Limited, No 1203. Inscribed on box: 'A Model Tank (Carden Loyd type) as used by the Royal Tank Corps'.

The Carden Loyd carrier was a lightly armoured machine gun carrier crewed by two soldiers, produced from 1927. Carden Loyd were taken over by Vickers-Armstrong which took over the manufacture of the vehicle until 1935.
