The Royal Buckinghamshire Hussars was a yeomanry (Territorial Army cavalry) unit that served in the Middle East with Major-General William Peyton's 2nd Mounted Division. In August 1915 the Buckinghamshire Hussars were dismounted and sent to Gallipoli as infantry.
