Cap badge, officer, Tank Corps, 1917-1922 (c)

This Tank Corps badge was approved in 1917 and issued from 1918 until 1923. Officers' badges were cast in bronze while other ranks badges were made of brass. As a new corps, no motto was included in this version. Later badges would have the World War One tank design reversed (to avoid the impression of a tank in retreat) and would carry the motto 'Fear Naught'.
