British troops fording a stream in Burma, 1944

Members of 2nd Battalion The Royal Welch Fusiliers cross a jungle stream during the capture of Pintha village in October 1944. They are each carrying a No. 1 Rifle with the exception of the last man who carries a Thompson submachine gun.
