'Donarli', a horse held by an Indian cavalryman of the 9th Hodson's Horse, in front of barbed wire and a tented encampment, probably Chatby, Alexandria, Egypt.
The 9th Hodson's Horse was deployed to the Middle East in 1918 and remained in the region until December 1920.
