Typescript memoir by Victoria Hill entitled 'How I became a WAAC'
Victoria Hill, nee Bramble, joined the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) in 1917 following a medical at Devonshire House, London. After training at Farnborough and Aldershot she journeyed by ship to Boulogne and service on the Western Front. Her account includes details of her camp, a march to Buckingham Palace, Armistice Day and returning home.
