Men from 25th (County of London) (Cyclists) Battalion, The London Regiment parade with their bicycles in Worthing, West Sussex. The unit was originally formed in February 1888 as the 26th Middlesex (Cyclist) Volunteer Corps.
This photograph was taken prior to the 25th Battalion's deployment to India in 1916. It remained there until the end of World War One (1914-1918), serving on the North West Frontier, and stayed on to participate in the 3rd Afghan War (1919).
