'Liberation of Europe: Cruiser's job off the Normandy Coast', 6 June 1944

HMS 'Frobisher' was one of many cruisers that bombarded enemy coastal positions during the week before the D-Day landings. This photograph shows a wounded soldier being helped to her sick bay on.
