Prisoner of war stretcher cases arriving at Kallang airfield, Singapore, 1945

Sick and wounded British prisoners are removed from a Royal Air Force Transport Command Douglas DC-3 which had flown them out from Sumatra after the Japanese garrison on the island surrendered.
