Lieutenant Pat Brodie, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), after a 'near-miss', Normandy, 1944

Lieutenant Brodie is listed in his unit's war diary as having been wounded on 11 July 1944 following a German counter-attack on Eterville. German armour, including three Tiger tanks, were repulsed with 'heavy casualties'.
