'"A" Squadron doing P.T. near Rauray, where the regiment were in a counter-attack role', 3rd County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), July 1944

The regiment moved to Rauray on 1 July 1944, where they stayed for a week, in anticipation of a German counter attack during operations around the French city of Caen. Camouflaged tanks of the Regiment can be seen in the background.
