Civilians watch a Sherman tank roll by in the snow in the town of Asten, North Brabant, Holland. 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry arrived in the Dutch town of Asten on 19 December 1944 for rest and refitting and remained there until late January 1945. An appendix in the unit's war diary records the Sharpshooters involved in an operation against German forces in the Wanssum area on 6-8 January 1945.
