A Sherman tank of 'C' Squadron, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters), positioned beneath a discarded parachute hanging from a tree. The unit, having crossed the River Rhine, was supporting infantry in 'F.D.Ls', Forward Defended Localities, during Operation VARSITY, the airborne assault in support of 21st Army Group's drive into northern Germany.
