Photograph, Central Office of Information, 1950 (c)-1969 (c).

Three members of the Women's Royal Army Corps being shown what is clearly a 'Drill' model of a Thunderbird surface to air missile.

English Electric, the company that made both the Canberra and Lightning jet aircraft, produced the Thunderbird.
