Postcard sent by Private Charlie Cole to his wife while a prisoner of war, 4 August 1918

Cole, a soldier with 7th Battalion, The Buffs, was a prisoner at Stendal Prisoner of War Camp in Germany. Most of the content of this postcard describes how Cole is missing his wife and children and how he is looking forward to seeing them again. Private Cole died at the Stendal camp's hospital on 17 September 1918.
