No 5 pressure switch, 1942 (c)

This device would have been used by British commandos, agents of the Special Operations Executive and resistance fighters for acts of sabotage and demolition. When someone or something activated the switch by applying weight it cut a metal pin attached to the spring-operated striker, which then detonated the attached explosives.
