Pair of ebony spur racks, 1850 (c)

Although highly decorative, these beautiful ebony spur racks are also functional. Each one can hold six pairs of spurs. They were made in India and belonged to Major Arthur Samuel Mills of the 58th [Bengal] Native Infantry.
