Parachutist light weight helmet, 1982 (c)

The Parachute Regiment used a distinctive helmet in the Falklands campaign (1982). Instead of the older style metal infantry helmet they employed a modern lightweight Kevlar helmet. This particular helmet was worn by a member of the 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, WOII Ragan.
