Combat spectacles, 2011

Used by troops deployed in Afghanistan (2001-2014 ), the Sawfly Military Eyewear System's lenses contain a special compound that helps protect eyes from the dirt and debris thrown up by the blast of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
